My New PlayToy!!!! Woohoo....
Muahahhahaha......
Finally...... something to make my days a tat bit more interesting.....My new LG U990....mauhahahahahahaha.
Yes I am nuts cause I can't stop smiling after I got my phone. Well in case you guys must be wondering how come I have the money to buy a new phone....nay...its free...ABSOLUTELY FREE...muahahhah.....ok here is a little story before you guys start throwing stones and screaming at me....hahahaha
It has been almost two years since I last sign up for the phone contract and it is ending soon on Aug. The sony black phone I brought back last time was the phone that they provide me with and every month I have to pay extra $10 for it cause when I apply for that phone, it was one of the latest model, thus the price. So all in all every month I pay $59 dollars for my phone bill n phone set.
I was actually waiting patiently for Aug to come along so that I could get a new phone when I renew my contract, but the thing is that Verene is going back home soon and I would like to give my mom the phone along with 2 other's that I have bought long time ago. So eventually I went into the shop and ask if I could end the contract earlier and pay for it.
To my surprise, they eventually waive off the 3 months fee...which means that the old phone now is mine and I do not need to pay anything extra and I can start a new contract right away with a new phone.....at that point I was like....HELL YEA!!!!
I always wanted a palm cause I am gonna work soon and it might come in handy....but when I saw this LG U990...I know I got to have it...uahahahahahahahaha
Alot of their features are somehow similar to iPhone...but what I think it totally rocks is that it has a 5MP camera.....including zoom with the lens.....muahahahahhhahahah.....and ofcouse not to mention the sleek design and touch screen.....
Anyway...I took some photos of it to let you all admire my new phone =))))))
Although this phone looks way better than my old phone, but somehow I pay less....my plan is a $49 dollar cap plan. It comes with a certain amount of credit and free calls, so if you overuse you will have to pay extra...but that is quite rare as it contains $300 dollars credit and 200 free min if you are calling to another 3 mobile user.As I have mention I need to pay extra $10 for my phone set each month. But this new phone is free on the $49 cap....so means that now instead of paying $59 dollars I am only paying $49 dollars per month....muahahahahahahhah...............HOOOORAYYYYYY for myself and 3 mobile........muahahahahhah

2 Fat Indians // Must Wine Bar
It has been quite a long while since I eat posh.....posh does not necessary means expensive fine dinning but just a place nice enough for you to actually dress up, have fun and take heaps of random photo then feel good the next day when you look at it.Well that was exactly what I did yesterday night!!! A good sleep till late in the morning is something everyone might once in a while should do and I did just that. I woke up at around 11am and went to have brunch with Verene, Wenda, Jeannet and my housemate Sam. We went to our usual dim sum place "Golden Century" and had a great meal. The bill came out to be a shocking one, but oh well...shit happens...and its too good a day to spoil it on that anyway. We went to the weekly market again for fruits and vegi. On my way I met Tiong Hoe and invited him to go for coffee with us.
It is a random one and we all ended up at Cottesloe, Blue Duck Restaurant for coffee. We all had a good time chatting and enjoying the seaside view.
On the way back home, Wenda suggested Indian food for dinner and we just could not decide. Later on we finally make up our mind and we also decided to dress up for the occasion. Joining the dinner are all my hsemates, Melissa, Sin and Sam.
The food were better than I expected. We had 5 dishes and saffron rice. We had the goat curry, chic pea curry, fish , vegetables and mint chicken. All were pretty good and some of the curries were actually quite spicy to our surprise. If there is something I do not like about the restaurant then it has to be the service. I was there for 10mins sitting and no one even pour us water. They just left us there and thats it! One of the waiter walked around us for a few times but did not even bother to fill our glasses....but judging from the way he serve, he must be new...so I guess I should not be harsh...and my friend book a table for 7 and it ended up written as 3....
Oh well I'll just let the picture do the talking.... Well these are just a few of the pictures Verene manage to snap before we all gobble up the lot... For entertaining purpose....LOL...I am putting up some of the funny looking and "random" photo up .
The bill to our surprise is not expensive at all....this only cost us around $19 dollars each. What a deal!!! After the dinner we hop to the opposite wine bar for some drinks. The night have a small twist to it! When we went there, it was pretty pack. The manager came and I ask if we could get sits for 7 and he show us a standing table....I then request again for some sitting table cause I am too lazy to stand and drink....and to our surprise...he ask if we would like to sit in the champagne lounge.....and I was like...hmmm...ok.....maybe the second floor will have some table sits for us because that place looks like a dinning area for customers. But weird enough we walked pass that area and went through a dark corridor.....and he punch some numbers on the door lock and off we went to a carpeted interior with posh lighting....hmmm...sill don't look right and then to our surprise...its like a VIP lounge.....where they have sofa sits and a huge liquor cabinet and bar fill with all sorts of liquor.......For a split second I still can't really register why the hell did he bring us up here.....but anyway...we just sit down and make ourselves comfortable. There are only 2 host there for the room. We were the second gang to get in there so it is still pretty empty. The room is a small chic room with wall papers and hanging lights....nice sofa and chairs. Not a huge room but cosy and chic, and obviously we are in the wrong room. The host starts introducing himself and start blabbing out all the information about the room and the liquor and champagne available.....and when I check the drink menu...my eyes pop out abit....the cheapest champagne is $99 and the rest is like @_@".......Wenda and Melissa are not champagne people so we ended up ordering white wine. The one he introduce was a pretty good one but I have totally forgotten what it was called cause of the long and fanciful name it has....and that bottle cost $70...not too bad if u split it among 7 people...LOL...we had some oyster as well. But in the middle of the event...some random guy pops up and offer us champage....LOL....ofcouse we accept....DUH.....hahahhahaha from what I heard that bottle was not cheap so hooray for us!!!!!!Well enough said, here are some photos as well.
Looking OhhLALA......
At the end of the night...all of us went home with a happy grin....
